We'll call them:
- Listening learners
- Seeing learners
- Touch / experience learners
It's simple really. Think about one of life's earliest lessons - often taught by our mothers: "Don't touch the stove, it's HOT!"
1. Listening learners heard their mother, believed the information, and never touched a stove.
2. Seeing learners watched some else touch the stove, learned from their experience and never touched it.
3. Experience learners need to touch the stove to test whether it's true/false.
So here are some tips to get you going....
1. Realize you have a preference for particular learning styles, but you likely use a combination of all three. Take the test to learn which one you are.
2. To improve your understanding, you have to READ. The more you read, the more you understand.
3. You must practice, practice, practice. Read. Read. Read.
4. Believe in yourself and word hard.
